The Systematix consortium, which includes the S3M, certified by the Quebec Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export to help the Quebec manufacturing industry.
Initiated by Prof. Dr-Eng. Alain April, director of S3M and submitted by the Systematix company, S3M Gold members have an opportunity, if they qualify, to provide information technology services to the Quebec manufacturing industry, through the consortium, in order to increase their productivity and competitiveness.
Access to the Ministry of Development Economics, Innovation and Export program gives access to a potential yearly budget of $ 51M to help 240 Quebec manufacturing firms. The Systematix consortium, including the S3M, is committed to supporting to these firms as of February 15, 2008 until March 31, 2012.
Under this program, S3M Gold member* will be able to offer expertise in their respective field and particularly in the following areas: Improving software maintenance, Software maintenance processes and SOX, Software maintenance contract and SLA optimization, Process management and tools, Software maintenance planning, Open Source software applied to software maintenance, IT Infrastructure optimization (ITIL), Software maintenance Project Management (PMBOK), IT Methodology and collaboration tools, IT Process Improvement, Quality Assurance, Outsourcing and Offshoring of Software maintenance, Software maintenance benchmarking and finally S3MAssess.
